We kind of do it all.
Our members help Alberta thrive. We're the backbone of the industries we operate in and have more than 100 collective agreements in place across the province.
Established in 1948, IUOE 955 is one of the largest IUOE locals in North America. IUOE itself was first organized in 1896 and is based in Washington, D.C., the Canadian office is based in Ottawa, ON. We have more than 420,000 hard-working members throughout both nations.
In Alberta, IUOE 955 is the largest trade union supporting hoisting and portable, and stationary equipment operators.

We also run a world-class, multimillion dollar training facility - The Budd Coutts Apprenticeship and Education Centre - that has skilled up generations of workers for decades. A state-of-the-art IUOE training facility is also located in Crosby, Texas.
IUOE 955 is headquartered in Edmonton, AB; with offices in Fort McMurray, Calgary and Edson.
